I just wanted to show everyone how dark the eggs are that I am getting from the 2 black hens I ordered from Peachick! I got these hens about a month ago, and they are just starting to lay me a few eggs. I am so excited about these girls!

The man that I am going to buy my new BCM rooster from has some Birchen Marans, so I am hoping he will maybe have a Birchen rooster that he is willing to part with

We will see Sunday!

The black maran hen eggs are on top, and the black coppers are on bottom.
