Oh yeah Chris that's survival of the fittest at work at its best, it can really be bad when trying to raise white birds with other colored ones (chicks) too. Make sure to keep a close eye on the rest now that they have discovered this horrible cannibalism trick they may/will try it on others it's a very bad habit to break once they find it out. Welcome to chick raising 101ol boy, sorry this stuff is part of it I'm afraid. I had it bad with some none with others, never a set in stone thing, hard to explain it its one of those schoolings of hard knox sadly.
 
Well thanks for the info guys,,, I just went and fixed their Lil butts, I separated all of them. I now have the NH's in their own brooder, the BR's have their own brooder and the RIR's are and have been in their own brooder. I also put the one RIR that's 2- weeks older than the NH's & BR's by her self for now. I guess I would rather have a problem with just one breed rather than with all 36 chicks!

You know Chris you could probly have left the NH and BRs together IDK/maybe, since they are what you call brood-mates or hatch-mates but still yet yes watch them close and you'd be surprised that a lot of the time it is ONE culprit that will get the commotion started and then you know its like a bad game of tag gone awry from there. They knew that one was an outsider (CRAZY) huh?

Yea, more than likely your right but while I was watching them going after the RIR I noticed that at the time it was just 2 BR's following her around. So I guess I was thinking that since my brooder was set up already to easily make sections and I didn't want the BR's teaching the NH's any bad habits, I would just move everyone into their own little spot to kind of control and watch them very closely for the next week or two.....Then maybe I can put them all back in one brooder.

But thanks again for your help on this...I guess I wasn't thinking about how bad it could get.

Well, I"m not sure because in my past experiences, I have male geese that do set on eggs from time to time. I haven't seen Chuckie laying an egg, so I'll be waiting for that. :gig

Gracie, I think Chuckie is a "Chelsea". I think he, oops, I mean she was laying an egg this morning. :idunno I'm so confused. :/ :gig He, oops, I mean she, was in the rabbit shed about 6:00 AM sitting on the nest. :/ That is the time the girls lay their eggs.
 
I have a pair of Light Brahma Bantams (a male and female) about 3 months old that I plan on selling this weekend unless someone on here is interested in them. They are about 3 months old right now and look great. I was planing on keeping them but I need/want the room.

Let me know by Friday if you may want them,
