I was going to attend a poultry swap in Denham Springs on April 21st, so we can meet then if that works for you. I'll be bringing some adult Toulouse, turkey poults, and sebbie goslings to sell if anybody else wants to attend. I will post more info later!

Will you have any Ameraucanas for the Sale/Swap? Or hatching eggs? I won't be attending because I work on Sat, but I might be able to arrange a way to get them if you do...

LOL, that ain't right! No, there is no fee. The only way there will be a fee is if we have to move it to the parking lot across the street and have to get event insurance, but I have another possible location if we outgrow that feed store that would also be free.

I am super excited for the swaps! I am painting chickens to bring. Anyone have any suggestions on a breed I should paint?
This first one is finished.. it is of silkies Not sure the breed of this one... I looked at a picture from a poultry magazine but it didn't say the breed... It is currently being glossed. And this is the one I am working on now... still need to do the background. More silkies
