Can you post some pics of the ones you have questions on?G'mornin everyoneI'm having some difficulties and would appreciate any advice I can get. I have never raised chicks before, my family has always had chickens but never chicks and I thought that there would be an obvious difference between hens and roos lol But there isn't. I have 2 that are about 3 weeks and 4 that are approximately 6-7 weeks old, two of the older group grew from the size of a chicken nugget to the size of my head in about 2 weeks but the other two are still pretty small. I keep hearing crazy and confusing stuff from folks around me, stuff like... the 2 big ones are going to be the roos because they are bigger... The two smaller ones are the roos since their tail feathers have come in and folded over already and the bigger ones still have flat tails, the smaller ones are the roos because they are "herding" the rest of the chicks... I'm so confused
Any advice or can anyone tell me what to look for or am I just going to have to wait until they either crow or lay an egg lol![]()
