Good to know about flock raiser!

our feed store here doesnt sell flock raiser or i would get some

I got in touch with the guy who has welsummers. He said he has some in the incubator now. Are you still interested in some. If ao how Many? I may get some more also.

He is too far from me to drive so I think I'll pass for now. Thank you!

My new arrivals. I think they are both pied. 14 more pea eggs in the bator rocking away!!! I'm taking names if anybody's interested. 6 due July 5-6 & 8 due the following week.

Purina Flock-raiser?
I think Hernandez feed and supply on (Lula st.) might have it hdowden, if not, I know TSC in DeRidder does. And Family Farm and Home in Many does too.

That's what all my birds get!

At one point and time, I fed Flockraiser to all of my birds but then switched up because "everyone" was using Lay pellets and that was the "IN" thing. Now Lay pellets are the "OUT" thing. I have learned my lesson from actual experience. Flockraiser from here on out. Lay pellets are not all that it's cracked up to be.

kuntrygirl, thank you for sharing that info. My girls don't even seem to enjoy the pellets. . . this was our first bag since my girls are just @ 21 wks., our last bag was the Flock Raiser tho. and they munched it down. Hoping they will start giving back here shortly. I would love to have more birds, but I'm stuck to 15 until DH sees some production,lol

You are very welcome . I was so upset and disappointed at myself for switching to Lay Pellets. Well, if you want to see production, definitely pump that Flockraiser in them. My egg production using Flockraiser is 7 - 8 dozen eggs EVERY DAY. Using Lay pellets dropped it to an all time low of "DRUM ROLL PLEASE:.................MAYBE 3 dozen eggs every day.
