I don't know of anybody -- hope you find some - I had one once & she was an excellent layer!

Great!! What breed chicks did you order and how many? Do you have any other animals?

I would like to present ya'll with my latest accruements, well I don't have them in my posession yet but my brother in Ark. went to MO. and picked them up Tues. morning from Mrs. kathyinmo. they are some results of the Delaware project she and I are working on. he will bring them down to me soon on one of his visits back home.

I ordered an assortment of 10 brown egg laying chicks from my pet chicken (were on sale). They'll be here around 11 Sep 12. Building the coop this weekend. other animals right now are 3 dogs and 2 cats. Am looking into possibly more in the spring, still researching and learning. Spent 25 yrs in the military so a bit behind on the whole farming thing. But have just shy of 6 acres and slowly learning as I go.
