maters on what kind of show you want to do. our 4h just does classes dairy, meat, pet. i have pygmy crosses. my doe is a saanen cross (to bad she didn't get the milk gene) then i have her 2 babies (kender sire), and a pygmy fainter that never faints. they share a shed and pasture with 20+ chickens. the goats have 1/2 and chickens have 1/2 the shed. though a few chickens like to sleep over.
