Here are some older threads that might interest you. If you cannot find the info you want, click on index, select which section of BYC you want to post in, and then click "post new topic." You can start a whole thread about it to see if you can get responses.

It really depends on whether you want large fowl or bantams, what color eggs you want, etc.

There are some really aggressive breeds out there that aren't much fun to see picking on the other chickens. If you come up with a wish list others might be able to assist more.
