hi all im excited to be on byc. my hensr free range they always lay in a dif spot how do i stop this?

ha ha they sleep on top of a refridge in the barn all 4 hens and theleghorn rooster

In that case, I believe I'd fix up a couple of open boxes -- even cardboard boxes -- in a dark corner in the barn. Put a little hay or straw in there, or dried leaves, whatever you can find, then put a golf ball or rounded rock or plastic easter egg, or some other imitation of an egg in each -- and hope they get the hint.
