Love My Khaki Campbell Ducks

Okay, I just have to ask... why do you have 30 Khaki Campbell ducks? Do you sell them, do you sell eggs, do you use them for meat birds? Being a city dweller, I can't imagine 30 of them!

rats-------------- after looking at your cambel ducklings im going to have revise my duckling order for this year adding ten of them on to it-- also..

makes me angry i hadnt done my order right the first time..

i had a cousin that raised purbrred hogs and angus cattle on his farm but i never seen such a big smile on him utill he showed me his
the ducklings he was raising .. there something about ducks that does that to a feller.

Because they are the best layer of eggs, forage well, sell well. They aren't the only bird here, we run a full fledge farm.

Finally getting around posting pics of our Welsh & Campbell mix ducks. The person we got ours from had a drake Welsh and duck Campbell. So, we wound up with 1 Welsh Harlequin drake and 2 Khaki Campbells. We have them just about 20 weeks...they are so funny, especially when they are in the water.

i think i read in Daves book (raising ducks) a good kaki campbell bred to a cayuga Duck gives future generations of that cayagu ducks offspring,, the potentual of also laying 300 plus eggs a year.. any way i now have ordered some to go with my other duckling order..i think i read daves been breeding and raising and improving his kaki campbell strains for over 40 years . that means i can pretty well destroy all the wonderful work he has done in only about one or two years at my place,, with the ducks i have ordered from him..Using them on my barn yard variety of ducks..

Mine weren't very noisy at all, they pretty much slept next to the pond all day long!
