love this site!

I had a broody hatch the eggs but ran into problems with the rest of the flock. Ill seperate her in the spring when i try hatching again. I have 1 under a heat lamp right now because she left 2 eggs and quit setting. 1 egg was old and never hatched but the other was about a 6 day embryo so i used a heat lamp to see if it would work since i dont have an incubator. Its developing and shoud hatch in a few days.i posted on hatching section with a question.

I hope the one under the heat lamp hatches ok for you :fl
It can be done, I've been on a thread just recently relating to this same thing and the chick hatched.
I seperated my broody from her flock mates as I wasn't sure what would happen with the rest of them when and if she hatched chicks. I just found it easier to make sure she wasn't disturbed or any that any other eggs were not added to the ones she was already sitting on.

Good luck with your egg, keep us posted on it.
