Loving my chicken life

I live in a semi rural area in Northern KY. In April I got my first chicks. Most of the guys went to freezer camp. I am down to 6 hens and a rooster. They are a beautiful mixed lot. I could spend hours just watching them. They can be quite quirky.
We built a chicken tractor to start with and need to finish up the coop. I am always looking for ideas to be successful. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I think he "secretly"

enjoys them, too.

Your husband wouldn't be the first to pretend he has no interest in or affection for chickens. Maybe he just needs some love and support to help him recognize what we all know: chickens are addictive and resistance is futile.
