I have a flock of new ladies. Leg horns, isa Browns, comets, road islands and Wyandotte. 23 hens in all. They are free range, they have a coop 15x20 feet.
They were raised fron 2week olds purchased in March of 2018. It is now August 2018 why am I only getting 7 eggs a day?
I change the water daily, they are feed pellets, kitchen scraps, and cracked corn on occasion ( for a treat ) any ideas why so few eggs?

First of all, welcome to BYC! :frow
What type of pellets are you feeding your flock?
Most pullets lay by 24 weeks old +/- depending on the breed.
Is it hot where you are? Heat stress can cause a reduction of laying as well. Try to limit treats and corn, as chickens require a formulated protein diet as well as oyster shell for calcium.

Yes it has been hot. Thanks for the tip on treats, I'll try that. I have given then oyster shell, they don't touch it. Not sure what the pellets are. They say 'layer pellets' I'll pay attention to the brand next time I buy them.
