Loxicam oral suspension

I was considering getting Loxicam for my hen with sprain leg. How much would I give her? There is no heat in the knee joint so I just think it’s sprained. The joint is slightly swollen and it is painful to her especially in the morning. I get her off the perch before she can jump and have made the roost wider so she can better perch. I tried putting her in a crate but she was too stressed.

I saw two posts about dosage for this and both were the same, with one saying her vet prescribed it 1.5mg/ml for the oral kind.

There are 2 strengths of Meloxicam 0.5 mg per ml and 1.5 mg per ml. Here is the dosage for birds and chickens:
