lst EGG FROM RIR'S HATCHED MARCH 11, 2009

Yesterday I got my first little egg from a RIR hen that I got from Ideal Hatchery on March 12th.

I was sooooooo excited. It was about half the size of a regular egg, but it was light brown and it was perfect inside. A small dot of blood, but otherwise perfect.

Thank you very much girl, I don't get that excited that easily anymore.

congradulations! That makes it all worth it. Mine are about 4 weeks behind yours, I fighured about Sept 1 for mine.

Congrats mine are 10 wks. old so I expect mine around Oct. 10.

I received my chicks from Ideal on 3/11 as well and just got my first egg yesterday!

I'm thinking it came from one of my red sex-links, but now I have 2 more and I'm not sure who those came from?!?
