Lsyinmachia nummulari a under water?

I bought this plant at petco and I'm wondering if I can plant it underwater I look in the web but it never gave me a firm response

Ok here's the pic anyway they call it creeping jenny I think anyway here it is

I can't tell you for sure, I used to do a lot with tropical fish and had planted aquariums that I'd have to harvest bucket fulls of plants from every month or 2. A lot of the plants that are sold in the aquarium trade are plants that grow in marshy situations, so they can be found in soil that is quite moist, as well as growing submerged. I think creeping jenny is one of those. In a lot of those plants, the leaf shape and size varies quite a bit, looking like an entirely different plant depending whether it grows in or out of the water.

I got another problem lol when I plant it in gravel it stays there for a while then it floats lol any ideas how should I plant it properly

You might get some of those little planting pots and rock wool that some of the aquarium plants come in, and plant it pot and all.
