May 8th our babies were brought home from the local feed store. They are such a pleasure already and personalities are shining through! They are all supposed to be pullets, which I really hope works out but I know that there are always gender confusion in a batch! I remember looking at the breeds and I wrote them down after we had them all settled... Australorp, Brahma, Araucana, Rhode Island Reds. Oh! And our two ducklings, Mallard? and Pekin. The ducks I am guessing since the sign just said mixed ducks.
Now I need to remember which one is which! So if anyone knows what breed if I am wrong let me know!

This is Snickers. Named for the caramel colored stripe down her entire back and creamy under color! She is very sweet too! Araucana?
This is Skittles. She has the puffiest little cheeks I have ever seen, looks like her cheeks are full of skittles! Araucana?
This little one has yet to be named, when we got everyone home we didnt think this one was going to survive the night. To our surprise she bounced right back and is now full of energy! Any name suggestions? She is very black with the big white spot on the top of her head. Australorp?

This little girl is Buttercup. She is pure cream on her face and underbelly. She is totally mellow and just wants to cuddle with you. Brahma

This is Moira Duck. My daughter named her. She came with some kind of sticky greasy yuck on her back that we finally cleaned off today and she looks so much better now!
