My very first chicken Lucky is celebrating her 7th year entertaining me in "Chickens as Pets 101"
Top 10 things I've learned....
1: Nothing runs faster or pecks harder than an upset Lucky
2: Chickens make fantastic pets
3: Your not a bad person if you still crave chicken wings
4: Don't tell your Mom you have 6 chickens living in your hallway. This is bad on so many levels.
5: It's OK to FORCEFULLY remove guests for making avian flu jokes or bringing their DOGS to your dinner party
6: Friends will still bring their DOGS over & tell you they will be fine around your Chickens since they are now trained.

7: Never assume the VENT is NOT loaded and ready to FIRE
8:: Having CHICKENS will make you smile (EVERY DAY)
9: Chooks are like potato chips, you can't have just ONE
10: BYC RAWKS!!!!!!!
