Lucky won't lay!

Hey guys! My red sex link, Big Berta, is laying good. Her crown and wattles are growing awfully big though, maybe from age. But my other hen, Lucky, hasn't started laying yet! The farmer that we bought her from said that Berta and Lucky were about the same age. Lucky is a generic red hen, if that helps. Let me know of any reasons why she isnt laying! Thanks!

Excellent information on that thread for certain.
I had one that did not lay a single egg until after she was 11 months old.
Mine is a splash hamburg and they are supposed to mature early. I was so

. BUT I did rearrange the flocks and within a week she was laying.
For us it is a mean hen we have that was very upsetting to her. Perhaps she is stressed for some reason.

its not that she stopped laying, she hasnt started yet.

she shouldnt be stressed, there is always plenty of food and they get to free-range.

OH I was not suggesting she had stopped at all. Mine that started to lay at 11 months did not lay a single egg before that.

If they are free ranging could she be hiding them?
