they were originally bred by the greatest gamefowl breeders in brazil. there are several strains that made it to the us. the pasquale, rodgers, and saab make up mine

Someone recommended the liege to me because I am wide open and having issues with hawks, but I was curious what the difference is between the two. Write up is good on the leige fighter yet the indigo was a best seller at greenfire so I’m curious why?

índio Gigantes tend to be more popular than Luikse Vechters, I assume because they are taller (Liege Fighters being around thirty inches tall and Indian Giants being around thirty-eight and forty inches tall). But Liege Fighters are definitely way better for protection, since that is a secondary reason to why they were bred. Indian Giants cannot fly as well, either.

Not speaking from experience but I feel like Liege Fighter might be more aggressive than Indian Giant but I really don't know! One thing I do know is Liege Fighters are nicer looking chickens!

I raise IG and it’s all in how they are brooded to begin with. We handle ours daily and as adults they are the most gentle chicken. The rooster more so than the hens.
