Lump on chickens face

I have been very lucky and have never dealt with any illness but I noticed while looking at the flock today that one of my older hens has a growth on her face near her beak it feels like a barnacle it’s really hard anyone know what it is what I do??thank you!
I forgot to add she is otherwise fine eating drinking free ranging

I am now wondering after some more research if this is a plugged nostril? If so how do I help without causing injury? Thanks!

Any update? I'm sorry no one has responded to this! My hen has something similar, but the bump is a little smaller, and she's been sneezing and scratching at it non-stop! I think it's hard for her to breathe, and when she sneezes, the eye opposite of the bump bubbles/foams up. I'm taking her to the vet soon because it looks like an infection that needs antibiotics
