Lump on leg

Hi everyone, yesterday I was petting my 2yo hen and noticed a small lump on her underside near her left leg. The lump isn't hard but rather just squishy-ish. She got bit by a stray cat in that area around 6 months ago. Is it something to be worried about since she seems perfectly fine or is it something bad like cancer etc... Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here the pic of the lump. No visible scabs or anything but this was the area where she got bit by the cat. I didn't notice the lump until yesterday so I'm not sure how long its been there.It's pretty solid but squishy. Does it look like cancer or something else? Shes been acting perfectly normal for a 2yo hen, laying eggs, eating a lot, cleaning herself, having dust baths etc... her joints and everthing are normal but her neck feathers have become thinner? I can see her neck skin and it's more bare in that area. Please help!!

What do you think I should do? It's pretty big and I think removing it is in her favour but I'm not too sure on how to go about it. Any advice/help?
