lump on neck

I originally thought my chick had wry neck. But now there is a bulging lump on neck that looks to be filled with fluid. It is hard to tell if bulge is from twisted neck or not. I have been hand feeding this 6 day old chick all day and have been giving it poly vi too. Anyone know what this could be? The other 11 are do wonderful. We have kept this ill chick separate from the others. I feel so bad for this chick and am torn between whether to end its suffering or keep trying to save it.

So sorry for your loss. Sometimes chicks are just unthrifty, and it sounds like this one may have fit that description. There is likely nothing you could have done to improve the outcome.
