Lump on top of ducks foot

One of my duck has a lump, about the size of a marble, on the topside of its foot. Any ideas of what this could be? I wasn't sure if it was bumble foot, as all the post I've seen suggest that they are found on the underside.
Side note - The ducks are semi-wild and I try to have as little human contact as possible with them, although if something is wrong I will catch it and treat them.

Any ideas/advice?

Could be signs of an infection.

Have you seen this before? I've searched a lot online and cannot find anything about lumps being on the top of the foot.

Yes as a matter of a fact just today on at Pet Doctor Tv show that came on this morning a duck had a bigger lump like this on it's foot.
Xray reviewed it was infection from a broken toe.

But I have seen threads here on BYC with similar bumps.
Sometimes bumble foot causes infection to spread through out the foot.

Ah right, I didn't realise it could spread through the foot. I'll have to try and catch her tomorrow and examine the foot fully (which could prove difficult as I do not handle them regularly).

Abscess .....?.....Lance it and soak the foot in Epsom salt...Put peroxide on it to flush it and then wrap it...
