Lump with blood and puss on two day old chick

My chick hatched wednesday eveningand had a strange dry lunp on its tummy, today (friday) she started pecking it and its come loose and started to seep a bit. Should i be worried? Will this clear up on its own or should she go to the vet?

I think that's the chick version of the umbilical cord stump, from where the chick ingested the last of the yolk and veins, it should dry up and heal by itself. I've had it with 2 chicks and it cleared up by the end of the week.

The other chicks are pecking it, is this an issue? I have seperated them for now but dont want to leave this one on its own for to long

ooh probably best to keep it separate until it heals to prevent infection if they are pecking it.
