Lumpy head with the crown torn off/fallen off

Hello Guys!

I have a 8 month old white peachick who seems to have his crown torn off (I doubt it falls off naturally). At first I thought it was due to bullying since I've seen another white peachick with his crown torn off. However, since yesterday, I've been noticing a slight bulge around the area where his crown should've been. Here are two pictures of what it looks like. Any idea why this is happening? An infection or an illness, perhaps?

Peas molt their crown sometimes a little at a time some times all at once, those new feathers are coming in crowded and you may even see some bleeding as they erupt, the bump is perfectly normal, here is one of my 6 or 7 month olds, see how many crown feathers have came in all at once .
