Jasmine (Jazzy) our buff brahma hen and the mother of all the half-breeds. She is also one of our oldest hens. About 2 or 3 years old. she's very beautiful, nice and a great layer.

another one of Jasmine's daughters, the half-breeds. Some inherited Jasmine's fluffy feet, some have black feet and beaks some have yellow feet and beaks.

one of four half-breed roosters, Jasmine's sons. I call them fire chickens because of the beautiful coloring on them lol. They also have a great tint of green on parts. And like their sisters some have black feet and beaks, some black, and some have fluffy feet.

This is Airheart. My favorite hen, my baby. She's named after Amelia Airheart because since day one she has wanted to do nothing but fly. She's lovable and a great layer. She's also one of our older chickens.

Counting the four roosters, we have 11 chickens altogether now. We lost two last year unfortunately. Raccoons got them at the place we used to live in New Hampshire. Since we moved back to Vermont where I'm from, they have been alot safer and now have a better coop and shelter/yard area. We had another hen spazz, and a black rooster I believe a black Australorp. Named blacky. He was the father of our 8 half-breeds Jasmine hatched. I still have some pictures of him I will post later. Unfortunately I don't think I have any of spazz, she was a beautiful hen though. Not sure of her breed.
