LWC (lil' white chicken) - California white? Roo? HEN!?

Depends on the age, but my leghorns (almost 18 weeks) have combs like that and they are girls.

My sister got the chicken from Orschlens, which gets their chickens from Estes hatchery.

I figured out it is definitely a hen! I was getting ONE random white egg, and suspected it was her since there are no other white layers, and she's the "different" bird. She's been laying about a week now. I finally caught her in the nesting box today. She's quite little, smaller than a standard, so she must be a leghorn then! yay.. I hate not knowing - not that it matters lol

I have a small (bantam sized) white hen almost identical to her with black random spots, but she has ear muffs. I have no idea what she is. She was purchased from Atwoods.
