well I have read and read and read. I *think* I have narrowed it down to lymphoid leukosis in my americauna hen. I would like to hear about symptoms from people who have personally had hens with this .
she is 6.5 months and has been sickish for 3 days now. The only obvious symptoms I can see are no egg laying, poorish appetite but still drinking, standing off by herself and all fluffed up. slow moving, very easy to catch and calm when I hold her. No clucking or sound making whatsoever. Her comb looks much smaller than her sister's and they were the same. I can't tell by feeling if her abdomen feels any different or if she could be egg bound. She is going to roost earlier than everyone else but won't sit down ,she just stands there. I haven't been to check at night to see if she eventually sits down. I also haven't seen any strange poops under the roost.
any help would be appriciated, I know she will probably die in a manner of days if its LL.
