Lyon turn X automatic incubator question, Teflon tape??

I have a Lyon turn x 6 that our local school wants me to figure out! It works but the rim keeps coming off track, it said somewhere here to use teflon tape, is it just the reg teflon white tape or do I really need to order it from Lyons corp??

I think the Teflon tape allows the dome to turn easier. I haven't ordered it yet, but I would think their Teflon tape would be a little thicker and have an adhesive backing.
The booklet that my Grandparents gave me with the incubator (TX-6 35+ years old) makes no mention of the Teflon tape. It says to use Vaseline in the track for a lubricant.
