Periodically, I am able to catch the elusive Mabel. She is my mutt chicken, and is not fond of being touched. Ever. But as stubborn as I am, I didn't give up today.
Anywho. Upon examining her (as I do every chickie I hold), I noticed her eyes are pert-near black! My 4 other blacks have golden eyes like the reds. Are black eyes common in sexlinks? Or is it just a mutt chicken thing and eye color isn't guaranteed?
Side note: I used my Google Image search thing on one of her wings, and it came up "turkey"
I also still can't get passed her coloring! She's just so dang pretty
