Mabel laid her first egg today!!!!

After 7 long months of waiting, Mabel finally laid an egg! She is our second to start laying, and spent about an hour on the nest today. I was puzzled as to what was going on when I saw her running around all day with no egg in the nest box, but when I went out to give them a treat later I found her egg in the run. Hopefully she hits the mark tomorrow! I'm used to nice clean eggs close to the house.

Her's is on the right, the one on the left is from our Buff.

This is still so exciting!
