MAC won't put pictures on "my Page"

I can't seem to put photos on the my "My Page" on my Mac. They just won't show up. I've tried copy and paste, not working. I've tried image and thumb, with and without the img and url in front and back and nothing happens. Help, please!

Would like to say this is odd. It works fine in my linux based system (just a 'clone' from what OSX is made from).

What browser are you using?
What version of OSX are you using?

This seems more akin to user error or misunderstanding of some kind. There are hundreds of Mac users here on BYC.
