We have had a automatic waterer in our run since we got our flock the end of May, but they don't use it, they use the gravity waterer that we had in the coop the first couple days we had them. I've seen at least three of the six use the nipples but not all of them (and couldn't tell them apart yet at that point). We got our flock already as layers so they are very skittish of us, no matter how hard we try and show them we are friends. So, I know they can learn and I know they will use them but how can I catch them in order to show them and know they all know how to use them?
