Made in America Challenge

My companion handcarves all sort of different items, We brag that is is made in America, Made in Nebraska, from wood found locally within 15 miles of our home town. And that no tree was cut down purposly for his carvings.

We are very proud of that fact, he carves mostly cottonwood bark and the tree has to be dead for many years before the bark can be removed or branches from trees that have already been cut down by others.

We are always on the lookout for old dry wood because that is what he uses.

Proud to be Made in America!!!!!!

I just bought a Ruger SR1911, It's a beautiful gun made in America with American parts by American workers. Now that's what I call a Win-Win-Win!

I am so disappointed. Years ago I bought slippers at LLBean, they were made in the USA then. I recieved my husbands gift yesterday, slippers, only to discover they are now made in China.
It is ashame that this company touts Made in the USA in their commercials, but the products are not. Shame on you LLBean. I will not be ordering from them any longer, unless they begin stating in their ads which products are accually made here.

I spent the better part of the day looking for a gift for a friend, I know he wanted and needed a good chore knife for back pocket use around the farm. He complained all year about how the cheap chinese knife fell apart and almost cut his finger. I finally found some knifes made in the USA with American made steel, I bought 2 and I got one for myself, because who knows if this company will be around in a few years. If you look you can find LOL. Buy USA !!!!

I bought my DH a knife this year also, Buck is still made in the USA as of right now. I hope they stay here!

I made some labels to attach to Christmas gift's this year, they say.............. this gift was Made in the USA, by American's for Americans, Merry Christmas. Some folks who recieve these gift's may just take a second and think about it and just perhaps spend a few extra moment's next time they buy something to see where it was made. Anyway just doing my part.
