The only comments I can make are to not use hydrogen peroxide since it can prevent wound healing. It won’t hurt to use one time in an emergency, but weak betadine, Chlorhexidene(Hibiclens,) or saline are better for initial and daily wound care. Vetericyn wound spray is also good. Make sure that the Neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment are without painkillers. Maggots can bore into a wound and eat healthy tissue. To remove them, it is best to soak the chicken in warm soapy water or Epsom salts, once a day until all are gone, and remove any with tweezers. The ointment can help to smother the remaining ones. Screw worm spray (permethrin) is also good to use.
Glad your chicken is doing well.
