The photos you sent look very similar to Peppers wound.

Thank you for sharing the turkey pictures. I'm feeling more and more encouraged with your wisdom and kindness, thanks for your postings ...oh and just to share with you, Pepper ate about a tablespoon of fresh squid and scrambled eggs and her droppings (poop) are solid and healthy looking.

I just realized the pictures are not clear, I'll send others...

Thank you Mary. I'm finally feeling a little more assured that Pepper's recovery really is going in the right direction. You and coach 723 along with others have given me the support that I was in much need of, thank you with all my heart! (just spent some time napping alongside Pepper on the floor, she had some oregano and thyme mixed with seeds...)

I'm believing in a full recovery for sweet Pepper. She still has a way to go. Her wound looks so raw and

tender and sore. I'm watching over her carefully, looking in on her every hour, (sitting on the floor with her, talking to her and even singing to her like I did when she was a little baby chick) My husband just brought home a screen door for her and I'm hoping it will help her "spirit". She's always been very social with her sisters so now she'll be able to at least see them...
