Magic water for chicks

Hot toddies are great too! It's the honey, booze, and 'some' water; a magic formula for sore throats and colds. Are the chickens deprived by not having the whiskey?
My birds get water without any additives, and do just fine.

I have heard of it, and lots of folks do it, but I am not one of them. I just make sure their water is clean and fresh, that's it. Broody hens aren't mixing up tonics for their chicks, so I'm not either. I've got enough to do as it is

But we aren’t broody hens, and this they aren’t getting everything a baby chick would from a hen, so we must compensate as much as possible.... We are going against nature, by incubating and rearing chicks. I am a believer of Magic Water.
