My hen has a bumblefoot. There is a small black dot under, and the swelling is on top between the toes. Has anyone used magnapaste as a drawing salve instead of soaking in epsom salts? Magnapaste is a gel that contains epsom salts and aspirin. Usually for hoof absesses.
One more question. If the black spot is on the bottom, and the swelling is on the top of the foot, should I make an incision on the top or the bottom?
