Hi, I have three sweet 5 week old babies I chose from a mixed straight run at a feed store when they were a few days old. I thought I was getting a Pekin, a Crested Buff and a Magpie. Now I'm thinking I have a Pekin, a Crested Indian Runner and maybe a Magpie? I'm curious about her/his feet. Other Magpie ducks I've seen in photos all have orange feet. This one has black legs and black "toes" but the webbing is light in color.

Are you sure it can’t be an Ancona? The markings look more splashy rather than the cap and mantle a magpie would have... and that may also explain the dark legs. :)
It could be! I really love Anconas and I wondered about that, as well. The only thing the feed store could say about any of the duckings with any certainty was that they were, in fact, ducks!

I have three 'Magpies' as well and two have orange+black feet. I put them in quotes because they came from the farm store (Not TSC) and until they are older wont know 100% :)
Yes, mine were also from a farm/feed store. Just a big mess of adorable ducklings with no clue as to what each one could be :) Are they the babies in your profile pic? They are adorable!

One on the left (That would be Sage) has black legs, but orange on the webbing. On the right (Basil) has mostly orange feet with a little black on the webbing.

One in the middle (Chive) you can see a foot and it is similar to Sage above, with a little more black.
