Magpie x Ancona sexing?

I saw a thread a while back about sexing magpie ducklings on their bill patterns. Would this be trait passed down with a magpie x ancona mix?

Looking into it a bit, it seems the magpie bill sexing theory hasn’t been tested very much.

I think the answer is that, when older, females lean into dark & dull colored bills, and males light & bright. But this is true for other breeds, too. It’s unrelated to their bill pattern as babies.

So.. No, because I’m not sure it is a trait? But even if it were, I’m not confident it’d get passed down.
You can still bill-sex them later, though, at around 4-6 weeks old.
