Magpies?Anconas?Any opinions on my mottled Ducks?

I Am Sorry I never meant to say or imply that the silver duck wasn't pretty, she is and I would be proud to own her. I just wouldn't claim that she was an Ancona. With all due respect to Cetawin I have purchased 20 Ancona ducklings directly from Dave Holderread over the years, the last order I asked for non-standard colors, I got Blues(dilution from Black) Chocolates, Tans (dilution from chocolate) I even got a tri-color which aren't supposed to be possible, but they all had the broken pattern. Silvers are supposed to be possible. 25% of a bluexblue cross should be silver or splashed but the broken pattern needs to be maintained to be Ancona other wise it is just a silver duck.

I believe Cetawin has a tricolor drake and a silver or lavender hen. My Ancona looks identical to Cetawin's anconas and Holderread's anconas....

I hope you don't mind if I use your thread, Cetawin, but you can see in these pictures that my ancona has the exact same markings as her's... the 7th picture show the markings the best

Must be something wrong with my Internet Explorer I couldn't open any pictures of Anconas on the Holderread website to see what the patterns "markings" looked like, but he Did have Silvers listed.

hey when i candled my duck eggs at day 18 all i could see was black and at the top there was an air cell is that good ?
