your opinion... is NY a little cockerel or a pullet you think? I know it's probably way to early to tell. I haven't seen any roo tendencies yet and she appears almost motherly towards the smaller chicks in her brooder. I'm hoping she's a "she"

I know it's only been a week since I showed you a photo of NewYork, but wanted to show you how much she's changed in just one week. Take a look at the red on her chest! Wow is all I can say! She is absolutely stunning.

NY moved outside yesterday and is sharing a coop with my buff silkie pair and three partridge silkies. Mr. Jingles wasn't too happy initially and ran up to NY with the intentions of showing her who was boss. Instead of running like the other chicks did, she stood her ground and never moved. I don't think she even blinked.

Instead she stretched her neck out and puffed our her chest, as if to say, "Look Big Guy.... I'm tough too!" They had a stare-down and Mr. Jingles walked off.
