Wow! I see a lot more pips in there too. Looks like you are going to have a great hatch! Is that a homemade incubator??

I have 5 or 6 more pips that I can see. I'm really excited. Yes I made the incubator myself, I'm really proud of it so far. I combined ideas from a couple of the cooler incubators on this site to get one that I liked. I really dont know what kind of chickens I'm hatching. I got the bunch of them from family while on vacation and they have a whole bunch of purebreeds and mutts all mixed together so it will be really fun watching them grow up and feather out.

I want to check in with a rave for the Brinsea EcoGlow! I have new hatchlings using it right now and it's so cute to watch them run out from under it to eat, drink, do chicky things and then dash back to warm up under it again. Just like with a momma. Out, and back, out and back. Sometimes they peek out with just their heads out, look around, then pull back under it again.

Plus, nice and dark at night, instead of that red glare at all hours. I might actually be able to get some chick pix now!
