Where are the spring-green and blue colored eggs hiding?

I don't have any darned blue egg layers. Hopefully I'll get some from Muggs for Easter! The grasshopper one is on a green egg and I have a few more green eggs blown for decorating. One of the EE's laid a green egg with brown speckles today, I'm going to cry if I break that sucker while blowing it out or decorating it!

Just set eggs for the 13th, locked down almost 2 dozen FBCMs and a few of the BCM x Games. I have a hatch the 1st and one the 5th, so other than what I set today I'll have room for a minimum of 20 for this hatch. Hope to fit more in there.

I'm going to have to get the freezer my husband was going to buy me last summer. The Games are really laying like crazy and I'm going to see if I can handle processing. I should also have some great layers of some various shades of brown eggs to eat after this too. Yeppie!

Ok everyone, I know this is last minute, but I wanted to make sure I could fulfill my promise to dsqard first. I believe I will have enough eggs to offer a dozen of my lavender and lavender split hatching eggs for anyone who wanted them for this hatch. I will post an auction on Friday if things go well and probably hatch vicariously through dsqard and another who wins the auction. I have two pens, both covered by Shaffer bred lav males. One pen has 4 Smith black pullets and 2 Shaffer bred lav pullets and the other pen has three Ribbeck black/split pullets. Let's hope they are generous the next couple of days

WOW Crystal, if I didn't have my bators full already, I'd be bidding on those eggs.... Beautiful birds...

I have 6 pips in the incubator tonight from Crystal Creek's eggs. Can't wait to see what pops out!

Great development on these shipped eggs. NO cracks or ruptured air sacs. Only 2 showed no development, 2 developed blood rings. I only lost 5 eggs prior to lockdown out of 2 dozen! Not bad at all for shipped eggs.

The 19 into lockdown showed great development. Not sure how many will hatch as I had a heat spike a few days ago

, so fear I may have cooked a few, but it's looking promising with all the pips that have shown up since this morning. Fingers crossed for a good hatch!

Thought I'd share an interesting CT from work: Here's a 3D reconstruction I was futzing with tonight of a dog with an aggressive tumor of the left cheekbone invading around the orbit and into the skull. It's eaten away a section of the cheekbone and is working its way into the sinuses and towards the brain case. What's amazing is that this dog shows almost no sign of this tumor yet. You can feel a firm swelling over his cheek that isn't very impressive, to be honest. "Tip of the iceberg" effect, to be sure. The CT shows the vast destruction of the bone that is happening. For orientation, the blue is showing the skin/outline of the dog, the tube coming out from the teeth is because he was anesthetized for the CT scan. The wires are going to a pulse ox probe on the tongue. The yellow shows bone/teeth. You can just see the normal cheekbone on the dog's right side of his face, contrasted to the missing segment of the left side being eaten away showing the back of the jaw bone behind.
