Another cool CT from yesterday, a young dog with one bad elbow, one normal elbow (and a part of the spine that was in the image). Nice contrast from the dysplastic side to the normal side.
I'm not planning on anything, guess I'll just have to post with what I set
But on a good note, I've almost got my big bator done, though it looks like I'll miss it for goose eggs. Actually...maybe not? I've got some goose and turkey eggs due to arrive today from my March Egg Swap partner....I guess those would count for this
I'll just have to cram them in the hova
Hey Mahonri, maybe next year you should make this an egg swap/hatch-a-long since so many are participating. The USPS would love you
Or maybe we could have a special egg swap, like the monthly swaps but for this hatch specifically. That way, those that don't want to (or are unable to) participate in the swap could still participate in the hatch.
ETA: I think I'm done editing now, must have done it 6 times
I just posted this on the Ameraucana thread, but I have chicks hatching this am, and one lavender Ameraucana is out. I had also set two eggs from one of my EEs just for fun because she's my best layer, and she lays pretty pink speckled eggs. Anyway, when I got up one of her eggs had hatched as well....and it looks EXACTLY like the lav Am!!!
Then I realized that the Am has a tiny piece of shell stuck to it so I can tell them apart!! Her other egg hatched just a minute ago, and it's lavender too!!!! What the heck??!? She's a cream colored EE with red leakage...
