Mahonri's 2nd Annual BYC EASTER HATCH. Post pics of your chicks!

I reviewed the past posts... Two people called dibs on certain weeks and week 1 was left so I assigned it to Nosey Chickens to ensure we had at least 1 contest per week.

Well OK then, once I figure out what the contest will be I would like to do it on the second week.

Ok I added you as another second week contest. I thought there was mention of a chicken on the head contest?

??????? I don't know what that is.
CC you could start with maybe a night college class maybe? Yes the equipment is expensive but you would only have to buy it once and you wouldn't have to buy it all at one time. The camera you are using right now takes great shots so nothing says you couldn't use that for now. I have no idea how many people who became famous taking pics were professionally trained but Ansel Adams never went to school for it. Just sayin....

I also had a suggestion by Cat Water of the cutest picture of someone holding/snuggling a chick. I could go with either idea since the cutest chick picture contest would be after the hatch and I believe it has to be one of the chicks hatched out from this hatch, correct? It could be the "I will hug him and pet him and take him home and I will name him George" contest

Awesome idea, but please, everyone be very careful about posting face-on photos of your children. There are unfortunately people out there that can and will snag your beautiful innocent photos and do unmentionable things with those.

OK, since the chickies and the roosters have their own contest, how about the hens/pullets?

For the APA 2010 Standards Book, how about "Best Hen/Pullet Stinkeye"?
