Why not? Here's some "help" . . . . A custom order of half and half. Who cares about separate pens, just keep the girls for pretty eggs.

I've been trying to decide who stays and who goes.

I'd just keep them all if I had the room and could afford to feed them all.

Illa send those birds to my house. Very pretty and just what I want.

CNY hatch I got 4 chicks from eggs from Marenofarms. All but one of the Icelandics were clear, but I did have a very early quiter, so I now know that if they aren't abused on the way, I'll eventually get some of them.

Todays hatch just finished and I have 4 more babies. Four extremely loud bantam Wellies. They're all in there trying to dry out.

Tomorrow I go pick up more eggs and I have a hatch with 42 Marans and 1 AM for the 21st.

Figure after the past 6 months I better keep things sharp and practice till the Easter hatch. Use it or lose it.

Can't wait to take some chickie pic tomorrow.

hmmmmmmmmmm wellies got totally quiet, so I better........................oh....never mind.

I'm so excited about this hatch.....even more now, since my NYD disastor is in the past and I have 2 good hatches. I just know Easter I'll get to show pics right along with everyone else.

Gotta say that I haven't been hatching the way I did before. Think I just didn't have my better half to remind me of things anymore, so forgot. I remember what I did before and had some good hatches, but I owe these to Chookschick and he cheat sheet! I know that between what I had forgotten and what I got from her are going to make a big difference from now on.

Soooooo....is CL the best place to sell chicks and older birds?

My problem with selling is I get too attached.

They're just chickens. Right?

I need to figure out what breeds to start buying so I can sell chicks. Something I don't want to keep myself.

Now to decide what that is exactly.
