Not this one anymore. Practically rebuilt and runs better than when new I'm sure.

Yeah but I had nice machanics who knew my husband, so they did what they could do and then I take it to a Jag machanic with things they can't do. Most the work was done so cheap compared to what it would have cost.

I got it at an auction and was trying to get an Accord, but they went for soooo much more.

After my near death experience, I met my SIL and he dropped me, Makayla and 1 1/2 year old grand daughter Keolani at a park near his dentist. Kept the little princess from running the office. Bad grandma took zero pics of the girls, but we found a momma and her babies. Hope it comes out. Cell phone pic.

Officially in at 15. The olive eggers didn't arrive today and the seller says the tracking number indicates they are not in the system. She told me to wait a few more days and if I still don't have them she would refund my money. They shipped on the 28th or 29th, supposedly.

looks like the auto turner stopped working and no broody hens. Shouldn't the 3rd time be the charm ... or doesn't that happen if the other 2 times go well?

hopefully I don't mess things up too bad this time around.

Got my fan for incubator 2 today (was SUPPOSED to show up last Friday, so much for expedited shipping

). At any rate, the fan is now in place and helping to keep the temps steady, both bators at 99.5. Put a humidifier in the room (a small half bathroom that holds the best steady temps in the house) to help slow water loss and protect against getting too low in the humidities.

I accidentally bid on another dozen of the Ameraucanas split fuzzy, couldn't watch them sell so cheaply.

Will give me hopefully better chance to get a nice flock of them going to make Fuzzy Ameraucanas in the next generation. Guess I'll get to practice my Tetris skills afterall, scooting them in when I've only got 5 spaces left. Figure it'll all even out when I remove the clears/quitters. Can lock down eggs for Easter in one incubator, keep the other one going a week longer.


I love my chickens.



Was reading through my Storey's Chicken Breeds book, loving it. Will have to read through it again.

They did it!! I have 40 new little chicks for my birthday!! There are still 22 eggs left... I can see at least 3 pips.. Still crossing my fingers on the two lav orps and 1 black orp from Corancher...

My kids have been having a ball today.. they sent me on an easter egg treasure hunt all over the neighborhood, put birthday graffiti all over my truck with window crayons and have been anxiously counting chicks all day to get to 40.. Incubator tv is better than cable around here!!!
