Are the black? If not a drop of food coloring on their heads always works for me.

Yep. I have put it on heads, chests, feet, etc. Though with some breeds they look exactly a like except for leg color.

Same leg color too. but toes are lighter too. Can I do it while it's wet????? OMG! any other time they would be lighter. I only have a few black ones, but they didn't hatch with BCMs. My great idea to candle and figure out where the BCMs were about and it backfired!

A pretty yarn necklace? Bracelet? Do you have any string? Tie a string around the crosses' ankle. What about food coloring on the beak? Are the beaks black, too?

Hey even a small brush of nail polish on their toes works.

I was going to say a dot of nail polish on their backs...

Running out for a pizza. I use a sharpy on a toe. LOL

beaks are black too. My roos don't mess around. LOL

OK, obvously they do.

I think the nail polish is the answer. Probably 300 bottles around here anyway and I do have several with the tiny brush. For now, the sharpie is working, but I know that will rub off in no time.

Thanks for help!

Appreciate it

JUST REMEMBER: Don't use red or pink. Actually only blue might be safe. You'll get those poor things pecking the heck out of each other unless it's on their heads.
